
Mary Beth West is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing
Officer of Kraft Foods Inc. and is a 22 year veteran of the company. As
CMO, Mary Beth oversees Consumer Insights & Strategy, Integrated
Marketing Communications and Consumer Services and Sustainability, in
addition to managing Kraft’s Tassimo hot beverage business.
Mary Beth has held several high-profile positions at Kraft over the
years—most recently as head of the company’s North American Beverages
Sector. Managing the $2 billion business, she worked to breathe new life
into iconic brands like Maxwell House coffee, Tassimo, Crystal Light and
Kool-Aid.
West began her career in 1986 when she joined General Foods as Associate
Product Manager on Maxwell House and quickly ascended to Vice President
of New Business Development, where she was tasked with introducing new
products for the business.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for J.C. Penney Co.,
Inc., and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
