
John Blasberg is a partner in the Boston office. He joined the firm in
1994and is the leader of Bain’s North American Consumer Products
Practice. He has led projects in the consumer products industry on
corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business unit strategy,
portfolio optimization, pricing, trade strategy and cost reduction.
John has spoken at conferences on the topics of core and adjacency
growth. He has been published in the Harvard Business Review on the
subject on brand growth – “Making Cool Brands Hot,” and has also been
quoted extensively in several prestigious business publications.
Prior to joining Bain, John was a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble. He
earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Amherst
College. Prior to business school, John was an Associate Consultant at
Bain.
